4/27/17

The BR girls improved to 3-4 on the season as the defeated the Durfee Hilltoppers 4-2.Sadie Antine 6-0, 6-0 won again. Junior Virginia Ho won a key match at 3rd singles 6-3, 7-6 and Gabrielle Grunin played well at 2nd singles 6-2, 6-2. Hannah Gallagher and Allison Carter made a nice comeback at 1st doubles winning 7-6, 10-3.

4/24/17

Co Captain Sadie Antine led the way again winning 6-0, 6-0 , as the Girls Tennis Team defeated Brockton 3-2 at home. Hannah Gallagher and Allison Carter won 1st doubles 6-1, 6-0 and Sorelle LaBerge Hynes with Grace Richards won 2nd doubles 7-6, 6-1.

Sadie Antine won her 1st singles match 7-6, 6-3, 6-3 and Hannah Gallagher with Sorelle LaBerge Hynes prevailed at 1st doubles 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Despite their best performance against perennial power house Barnstable in some time., the BR girls were edged again 3-2.

Th BR girls Tennis Team dropped a close match on the road at Dartmouth, losing 3-2 in a squeaker. Captain Sadie Antine ( 1st singles) won 6-3, 6-3. The first doubles team of Hannah Gallagher and Allison Cantell won 6-4, 6-2.

 

4/7/17

Bishop Feehan hosted the BR Girls and took the match 5-0. The longest match of the day was first singles where Ali Solleceto edged Sadie Antine 6-3, 4-6 and 11-9 in the tie breaker. It was a spirited match between friends (both girls play at Lakeville tennis Club) that had both teams applauding the outstanding play.

The Lady Trojans defeated Brockton 3-2 for their first win of the season. Sadie Antine won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles. The doubles team of Hannah Gallagher and Allison Carter won 6-0, 6-0 and the second doubles team of Sorelle LaBerge Hynes with Grace Richards won 6-2, 6-2.

Plymouth South defeated the Girls Tennis Team 5-0 at the Bridgewater Middle School in the opening match of the season. Sadie Antine and the First Doubles Team of Hannah Gallagher with Freshman Allison Carter played well for BR.
